* The slip flap hanger will hold any mud flap in any driving conditions. When the mud flap engages the tire, the Slip Flap unit is engineered to release the mud flap before it is damaged. If you utilize heavy duty mud flaps (1/4” plastic or 1/2” rubber), a heavy duty spring is available to provide more holding power when the flap is caught under the tire.
